Overview

JC-STAR is Japan's IoT product security conformity labelling scheme led by IPA, with multiple levels: ★1 is a self-declaration, higher levels bring in third-party assessment, and the scheme is progressively referenced in Japanese government procurement.

We help prepare the ★1 self-declaration, confirm conformity and support the application; the technical requirements map to and reuse EN 303 645.
